Erin is the Associate Director of the Family Violence Law Center (FVLC), located at the Alameda County Family Justice Center. At FVLC, she oversees development and daily management of all programs, including: a team of lawyers, legal advocates, and volunteer lawyers and law students who provide information, advice, and representation in Domestic Violence Protection Act restraining order and related legal matters; a team of domestic violence advocates working in two police departments; family caseworkers who provide longer term case management for survivors with children; the Mobile Response Team, which provides 24-hour, year-round support for domestic violence survivors; and a team that provides prevention services to youth, including youth leadership development programs. She also participates actively as a member of FVLCʼs Management Team, including working on strategic planning, department budgets, and fundraising. Erin also facilitates effective communication between FVLC and outside agencies, including partner police departments, other community-based and legal services organizations, and Family Justice Center staff. Erin has previously served as a volunteer attorney at the Lawyersʼ Committee for Civil Rights and the California Habeas Project, and as a directing attorney at Legal Advocates for Children & Youth, a program of the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley. Erin received her J.D. from New York University School of Law.
